Licensing

One purchase activates Final Pass on up to 3 Macs. License keys and a personal manage-activations link are delivered by email after checkout. Use the link in that email to review or update the Macs assigned to your license.

Is the App Store version the same as the direct version?

Yes, it’s the same app. The Mac App Store handles its own licensing, purchases, refunds, and Family Sharing under Apple’s rules. Direct purchases through FastSpring use a license key with 3 Mac activations.

Will I have to pay for upgrades?

Updates within the current major version are typically included. A future major release with significant new functionality may be a separate purchase. We may change or discontinue updates at our discretion.

Who handles billing and tax?

Direct purchases are processed by FastSpring (Bright Market, LLC dba FastSpring), our merchant of record. FastSpring handles VAT, sales tax, and payment processing on our behalf. Your invoice will show FastSpring as the seller of record.
